THE ASSET follows American trauma surgeon Dr. Anna Goldenberg as she works to fulfill the final wish of her friend and former protégé, Dr. Shachar Shimonovich, who is battling metastatic cancer. In the aftermath of national tragedy, she sets out to bring ASSET (Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma), a cadaver-based trauma surgery training program, to Israel, turning personal loss into a lasting legacy that equips surgeons with the skills to save many more lives.
